Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Brookline Sprouts collects through this website, including campaign links, and how we use and protect it.

Last updated October 3, 2026.

Information you give us

When someone sends an inquiry, requests an application link, applies for a job, contacts us about volunteering, requests a family resource, or schedules a tour or call, we collect the information they provide. Depending on the form, email, or booking, this may include names, contact details, a child’s name and birthdate, program interests, bathroom-readiness information, availability, employment or volunteer experience, qualifications, resumes, and messages. Please do not put sensitive details in a message unless they are needed for your request.

Visit and campaign information

When you visit from a social post, advertisement, email, or another website, the link may include campaign tags (often called UTM parameters) or an advertising click identifier. We use those tags, the referring website, and the page where your visit began to understand how people find Sprouts and which outreach leads to inquiries, applications, and bookings. Our short links also count visits by link and day.

For tour links, the website can keep attribution information in your browser’s local storage for up to 90 days. For site forms and hiring links, it can keep attribution information in session storage for your browser session. These records can include source, campaign, referring site, landing page, and advertising click identifiers such as Google or Facebook click IDs. If you submit a form, source information is saved with your submission. If you choose a Calendly booking link, relevant campaign information, and in some cases a Google click identifier, is passed to Calendly with that link.

Our hosting and security systems may also receive technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested page, and time of visit. Form security uses a limited identifier derived from your IP address to help prevent abuse.

Analytics and advertising measurement

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement tags to understand website visits and actions such as inquiry submissions, tour-link clicks, and video playback. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers for this measurement. We do not intentionally send the answers typed into our forms to Google Analytics or Google Ads. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services. We use campaign results to evaluate our outreach; a tagged link does not by itself enroll you in messages or complete an application.

You can control cookies in your browser. You can also use Google’s Analytics opt-out and review Google ad settings. Restricting cookies may reduce the accuracy of our measurement.

How we use and share information

We use information to answer questions, discuss enrollment and tours, evaluate job applications and volunteer inquiries, provide requested family support, send application links and other requested messages, maintain operational records, and understand which outreach is useful. Admissions inquiries may receive an email follow-up series; those emails include a way to unsubscribe from marketing messages.

We use service providers to operate these activities: Calendly for scheduling; Mailgun and our email systems for delivery, with open and link-click tracking on campaign emails; Slack for internal staff alerts about forms and bookings; Google Analytics and Google Ads for measurement; Cloudflare for delivery and security; and Vimeo for videos that you choose to play. Alerts to staff may include the information you submitted and the source of your visit so we can follow up appropriately. These providers process information under their own policies and our account settings.

Some links leave our website for services such as Brightwheel, Google Maps or Drive, and social media. Their privacy practices apply when you use those services. The website may request Google Fonts to display text.

Children’s information

This website is intended for parents, caregivers, job applicants, and prospective volunteers, not for children to submit enrollment or family-support information themselves. Adults should submit those forms on behalf of children. A parent or guardian may need to participate before a volunteer under 18 can be considered for placement. We use a child’s information for enrollment, care, scheduling, family support, or another purpose explained where it is collected.

Storage and retention

Form submissions and related source information are stored in protected server locations and are not intentionally published with the website. We keep records as needed for operations and applicable obligations, then delete them manually when no longer needed or when an appropriate deletion request is received. Other services may keep information under their own retention settings. No online system can guarantee absolute security, but we use access controls and reasonable safeguards.

Your choices and contact

You can ask what information we have about you, request a correction or deletion where appropriate, and unsubscribe from marketing emails. Licensing, safety, employment, or other obligations may require us to keep some records. For questions or requests, email [email protected], call 412 531 0590, or write to Brookline Sprouts, 1036 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
