About the role

Brookline Sprouts is hiring a Facility Person to keep the building and its spaces ready for children and families. This is the building cleaning and maintenance role, separate from Cooking Support. The work includes janitorial cleaning, light maintenance, moving items, setting up spaces, and replacing routine supplies.

Brookline Sprouts is part of Tree of Life Open Bible Church's work with Brookline families. Each role helps make the neighborhood a better place for children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Clean areas of the facility, including mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and removing trash and cardboard.
  • Handle basic maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs.
  • Move items and set up spaces as needed.
  • Replace supplies such as paper towels and soap.
  • Use the task management app to track assigned work.
  • Clean the cafeteria when assigned for facility cleaning.
  • Complete other assigned facility tasks.

Qualifications

  • Able to work independently, choose next steps for assigned facility work, and manage tasks using the app.

Schedule

Ad hoc and very flexible, 0–39 hours per week based on your availability and available work. Work may take place in the evening or overnight.

Pay

$17–$22 per hour.
